Gulf Racing GT40 12 Sebring 1969 - Ceramic Mug

Held at a former Army Air Force base in Sebring, Florida, the 12 Hours of Sebring race has traditionally been the opening round of the World Sportscar Championship. Half as long as the 24h of Daytona or the 24h of Le Mans, the 12h of Sebring race is known to be twice as tough on its machinery due to the incredibly bumpy and rough track surface.

First raced in 1964, the GT40 racked up four consecutive 24h Le Mans victories and countless international victories.
In 1969, the Ford GT40 was getting a bit long in the tooth, however this didn't stop Jacky Ickx and Jackie Oliver from capturing the top stop at the grueling 12h Sebring race. The Gulf liveried GT40 is on the short list to be one of the most iconic racing cars of all time.
